Expert Solution

Enter the data into excel workbook,

Go to Data and click on DataAnalysis

Select Anova single Factor

Select input range grouped by columns and labels in first row. and then click ok.

*** If you want to change alpha you can edit it for required level of significance.****

Hypothesis:

H0: All treatment means are equal.

H1: Atleast one treatment mean is different from others.

ANOVA results

Anova: Single Factor
SUMMARY
Groups Count Sum Average Variance
Treatment 1 4 4 1 2
Treatment 2 4 8 2 2
Treatment 3 4 24 6 2
ANOVA
Source of Variation SS df MS F P-value F crit
Between Groups 56 2 28 14 0.001727 4.256495
Within Groups 18 9 2
Total 74 11

Since p-value is less than 0.05 we reject null hypothesis and conclude that there exists a significant differences between the treatment means.
