Solutions

Expert Solution

I have chosen the product Iphone.

There are 4 stages of the product life cycle.

  • Introduction
  • Growth
  • Matury
  • Decline

If we talk about Iphone then Iphone is currently in the maturity phase. This is because the sale is at the peak, demand is high, people are eagerly waiting fr the new updates related to Iphone, The manufacturing cost is lowered, margins are high. The company’s current strategy is to maintain the current market share while maintaining the revenue coming from sells. There are many alternatives available in the market band if the product is in maturity phase then generally this happens. The Iphone was able to get the status of superstar that is why many companies offered their product containing the similar features. Due to this reason the market is saturated with this type of product. The sales are at peak and because of saturated market the sales is going down. This is why the company is continuously focusing on research and development. Each time they set benchmark for their products. For an example In IphoneX the company introduced Face recognition technology and it because very famous,. Further they introduced Face Emoji. So continuously introducing new technology is the objective of the company.
