Solutions

Expert Solution

Low consequence work-oriented:
Paying the electricity bill when the deadline is a week ahead. In this case, I tend to procrastinate the work since the deadline is yet to be met. Hence the consequence of this decision is minimal.

High consequence work-related:
The decision that I once had to make during my job at a manufacturing facility when there was a big operational failure. I had to make a decision which had a high consequence if not taken asap due to the casualties involved. Hence the timing of decision making made it a high consequence decision.

Low consequence people problem:
Not paying much attention to my sister's demands for her upcoming birthday. My decision won't have much problem because my sister is involved who would ultimately gel well with whatever the decision was taken.

High Consequence people problem:
To handle the strike by employees who are threatening to form a Union at the manufacturing facility which will be damage to the management and operations as a whole. Taking appropriate decision for this problem is necessary giving the high consequences of the problem if not taken care of.
