The data flow needs to be smooth so that the data can be extracted from the database and can be sends to any government or non government agencies upon requirements. The data sources should be controlled in such a way that the right data inputs are captured in the database and the avoids the data inaccuracy. The data inaccuracy is a major problem and it is very difficult to make the data in the correct form.

Database needs to be supported by the data dictionary so that the data can be selected from the data dictionary instead of typing the data so that the correct data will be captured in the database and it will avoids the data inaccuracy. Later it will be very helpful in data quality and the data can be easily used for required analysis.

Admission date: The data dictionary need to be formatted in such a way that the admission date is picked from the colander in the database system. The database will be formatted such that whenever any date entry is required, the colander will open and it will capture the date in the correct US format. The colander format will ensure right quality of admission date entry in the database and will ensure right quality of data.

Discharge disposition: The discharge disposition will be supported with dictionary data source as a list of sheet which will contain all possible disposition after discharge of patients. Thus the list will be updated in the database source and the value will be picked from this list only.
Sex: The sex value will be supported with dictionary data source as a list of sheet which will contain all possible disposition for sex like Male, Female, etc. Thus the list will be updated in the database source and the value will be picked from this list only.
Race: The race will be supported with the dictionary data sources which will contain all the name of race such that the suitable race will be picked from the drop down menu. The drop down menu will be supported with the lost of data.
Hispanic: The Hispanic list will be formatted and updated in the dictionary source so that the suitable field can be picked and it will maintain the data quality.
Payment source: The payment source list will be updated with a suitable list of data that will contain all the possible payment sources and can be picked from the drop down list.
