The Brand is Tesla which is postioned currently at second level of brand positioning that is Benefits.The first level of positioning is the least desireble and less effective level which Tesla already have achieved because at first level, Brand focus on positiong of its Car attributes like design of its electric car, interiors, engine etc. These attributes do not do much for Tesla as they can be imitated by other Car brands as well.
Tesla is at second level that is benefit. In this level, Tesla target its customers based on benefits its attirbute provides or we can say what those attributes would for the customers.
for example- Tesla's electric car helps customers to travel long distance in single charge, Make customers feel safe and comfortable when they sit in the car, Saves cost of fuel as they do not have to spend on fuel anymore etc.
The most important and very effective level is beliefs and value that Tesla should achieve.It goes beyong attribute and benefit . This can be achieve by Tesla by connecting and enaging with customers on deep emotional level. Tesla can create feeling of luxurious, excitement, high social class when they purchase its electric cars.
