Businesses often face an ethical dilemma in the management and among the employees too. The employees tend to violate ethics and the rules of the organization for their gains and benefits. It hampers with the growth of the company, and also the personal development of the individuals. Hence, it becomes crucial to learn to follow the rules and ethics for the better development opportunities. The optimum and the most relevant example of a moral dilemma is that the co-workers often ask each other to cover their shifts. For instance, A asks B to cover his shift because he wants to watch his son’s football game. It is unethical, but some employees also think of it to help his fellow workers. However, it is immoral in the eyes of the managers and the top authorities. The moral dilemma also attracts ethical challenges. The business might have set up ethics, stating that all the employees have to complete their tasks using their capabilities and abilities. It will help the employees to gain skills for personal development. Hence, the two workers have violated the mentioned ethic. Some companies also inform the employees that they will have to follow everything irrespective of their opinions. Therefore, it becomes an obligation of the employees to follow all the rules as well as ethics.
