Productivity dilemma refers to the
state where any organization has to strike a balance between short
term gains and future investments. For any company or organization,
getting the short term gains and putting some money for future
investments are equally important.
As a Manager, some of the central
productivity issues which is being faced by him or her as
below-
- Prioritization of the
projects – One of the key dilemma faced by the managers
are the prioritization of the projects. Considering some projects
can hold promise of bringing more benefits in future and some of
the projects are to be taken care to generate revenue for day to
day functioning of the company, it becomes really challenging to
identify and prioritize the projects accordingly.
- Employee
management- Keeping the employee’s interests also intact
all the time is also a bigger challenge for the managers.

and confidence alive- As a shareholder, person is more
concerned about company’s growth projection and revenue model.

board members for future projects- Considering any company
is run by a strong profit or revenue, it’s very imperative to get
the consensus of all the board members on future projects and
current ongoing projects. Keeping all the members motivated enough
to believe in company’s growth model and goal setting is very
important to maintain the sustainability in a long run.
