In what ways did the Romans change the Classics of the Greek artistic legacy? Greek and Roman art forms seems similar. When we analyse them deeply then some distinctions become clearly visible. Greeks were habitual of making statues of Supernatural aspects like God and Goddesses. They used various enhanced features to glorify those statues.

They kept main focus on beautification of those statues through minute elaborations. Romans made statutes which were based on truth. They made statues of real people. Romans dealt with real people. They added some elements to glorify the statues of senators. They made big heads. They also showed masculinity of statues.

They also tried to put more and more serious expressions in those statues. Roman people were also used to create various paintings. They were making paintings of important people and important events of their society. They painted real people and real events.

This trend was not common in Greek people. They used big jugs for painting purposes. They preferred paintings of various myths rather than real events. Use of concrete can be easily be seen in Roman architecture.

Greek people used marbles to create various places for public usage. Wood and bricks were also used by Greek people.
