Henry's Law states that: The solubility of a gas in a liquid (i.e. water) is directly proportional to the pressure of that gas above the surface of the solution. If the pressure is increased, the gas molecules are "forced" into the solution, most gases dissolve in solution and the process is exothermic. This means that heat is released as the gas dissolves. This is very similar to the reason that vapor pressure increases with temperature. Increased temperature causes an increase in kinetic energy. The higher kinetic energy causes more motion in the gas molecules which break intermolecular bonds and escape from solution since this will best to relieve the pressure that has been applied. so, if we cool down simultaneously with increasing pressure the kinetic energy of gas molecules will not increases, then gas molecules will not escape from solution i.e. it will increase the amount of dissolved Gas in liquid (i.e. water).
