When selecting a company for a research project, you have to make sure that the company is re-searchable with enough data available for you to complete your research. Not having enough data can make or break your study. Why?
Not having enough data especially secondary data can get to stop your project in the midway or even at the initial stages. For instance, if you wanted to identify the advertisement effectiveness of a product and you don't know how much money is spent on the advertisement on the whole, it wouldn't give you apt conclusions during your research and your methodology will actually be flawed. With this, hypothesis cannot be framed properly tools such as cost benefit analysis cannot be performed which is actually important in the such research. This is the problem that many researchers face because, most of necessary information in the company is private or not accessible and that is the reason why it is necessary for the researcher to properly analyse the available data and make sure whether the data is enough for fulfilling the research requirements or not before actually going to conduct the research.
