Glomerular filtration:
Filtration of plasma occurs in the glomerulus capillaries.
It is a first step of urine formation and plasma get filtered ,it is converted into urine.
Normal glomerular filtration range is 90
It also helps in the measurement of kidney function.
Glomerular filtration occurs in the glomerular capillaries and substance are ions, nitrogenous waste, glucose, smaller protein and amino acid.
Tubular reabsorption:
Filtered substance get reabsorbed in the tubule-it is again send to the blood.
By their glomerular filtration ,some substance travelled to the proximal convoluted tubule and get reabsorbed at the proximal convoluted tubule, enters into the blood.
This process done by the release of renin.
Tubular reabsorption occurs on the proximal convoluted tubule and substance get reabsorbed are water, amino acid, glucose and pottasium.
Tubular secretion:
Some substance entered into the renal tubule from the peritubular capillaries.drugs are secreted into the renal tubules and it does not get filtered in the glomerulus capillaries.
Tubular secretion occurs from the proximal convoluted tubule to the collecting duct.
Substance get secreted are potassium ions, hydrogen ions, urea, ammonia and some drugs like xenobiotics.
