1. In today's competitive world, every organization is trying its best to employ more competent workforce that will move the company towards a progressive path. But the problem is that with the advent of new technology the skills of employees become outdated. They need right kind of training to update their skills according to new technology. So let's understand the importance of training need analysis.
a) Training need analysis is the best way to understand the comprehensive needs throughout the organization. While analizing the training needs several questions arises in our mind like, whether we have any skill gap which can be filled by training? is there any new technology, adoption of which needs adequate training? or is company is facing low productivity, with the help of training productivity can be increased ?Training need analysis can help to improve these deficiencies.
b) Training is essential to bridge the skill gap. First of all, it is necessary to find out the particular skill gap then asked the trainer to help in this regard. The trainer will present all the necessary points to bridge the skill gap.
c) It is highly essential to make an estimation of training. It means the training should meet the company's requirements and it should be within budget.
d) Again it is necessary to ensure that particular training will sort out company's problem & help in increasing productivity. If the needs are analized well then the outcome will be positive otherwise it will not make any difference how long the training may be.
e) Training analysis must contain the type of training. It may be one day or two day program or a weekly program or it is for a specific group or for all.
2. Performance management is a process in which a manager creates a work environment where employees perform best of their abilities. Performance management helps the manager to interact with the employees in a best possible manner so that they can learn from every session.
Performance management plays a major role in the continuous development of organization. It is the HR department who keep a close eye upon the performance of executives. As the skilled and talented workforce are the life of every organization the HR executives put their best effort to choose the right candidate for the company. The investment in performance management is increasing at a faster rate. Each company is trying to compete in the market place to hire and retain best employees for their organization. Effective performance management is highly essential to understand the goals of the organization and determine how the individual employee is contributing towards organization goal. The HR executives plan and integrate employees of different skills to make them understand their roles towards company. For this the HR department verifies each employees day to day performance and provide them clarification related to their performance. Arrange training programs to make employees more skilled and efficient for a certain task. HR department create and maintain necessary documentaion to reduce future disputes and concentrate on continuous development of organization.
