1. Tropical cyclone is located between 10° to 30°N/S .
But temperate cyclone is located between 30° to 60° N/S.
2.Tropical cyclone is formed only on sea with 25°to27°c.
But, temperate cyclone is formed in both land and sea.
3. In tropical cyclone front is totally absent.
But, in temperate cyclone , front is present.
4. In tropical cyclone, rainfall is very strong but it stay for few hours.
But in temperate cyclone, rainfall is low and stay for several weeks.
5. In tropical cyclone, isobar is in circular shape.
But in temperate cyclone, isobars are in V shape.
6. Lifetime of tropical cyclone is not more than one week.
But lifetime of temperate cyclone is 1to 3 week.
7 . The wind velocity of tropical cyclone is 100 to 200 km/h Averagely.
But, the wind velocity of temperate cyclone is 35 to 150 km/h.
