Proffesional helpers are those who help people to cope up with their problems and try to resolve it.

There has been many things that can be learned and should have learned about in regards to becoming a proffesional helper

Basic important things that i have learned are ethics ,moral dillema ,critical thinking and decision making .It plays a major role in deciding what is best for the person who come to you, decision shouldn't be based on what you feel is right as it should be based on what is in best interest of client and adherence to principles will reduce any chance of mistakes or sins .

The best advice ever had is that trust yourself, trust your client and trust the process . Believe in yourself and devote yourself to serve best for your client.Remember our job is to ' help ' and not attempt to control or impose unsolicited changes on other.Never blame yourself if client is not following up and not coming again ,try to do your best and not to stress yourself for others decision.

Be humble, no matter you feel you are doing your best , try to listen .Listening improves learning ,it is best way of learning to become a proffesional helper.Always listen to your client that if what you do is helping them and tell if getting out of track  and not being helpful.Through listening it will become more clear how much you are good in your work in helping other . More importantly , not to be biased and decision shouldn't be based on prejudice and shouldn't discriminate on basis of their race ,ethnic ,age and sex .

Confidentiality is also important factor to be known and learn to maintain to become a good proffesional helper to avoid breaching of confidentiality and leading to breaking of trust of your client and not ensuring the trust .

Thus,it is privilege to help and work with client because we are sharing " intimacies" that perhaps not have been shared with others. So its our duty to serve best and ensure their safety , maintaining trust , confidentiality and make a unbiased decision ,also decision making on basis of ethical principles ensuring best in interest of client As we are working with collaborators and we are facilitator and conduits to problem solving
