What is the most noticeable findings and observations of this data set? What sticks out?
The most notiecable observation is the difference in nutritional value between the sauces and dressings. To analyze this more closely first we divide the data into two groups
Next, we calculate the averages of the following categories
for each of the two groups (sauces and dressings).
We present the data in bar graphs
We can see that the dressings have higher values in each category. Not surprising, since a dressing is known to be a less healthy choice than a sauce.
We also note that the Avocado Lime Ranch Dressing is the sauce/dressing with the most calories, fat and saturated fat as we can see in the following graphs.
Another observation is that the dressings labled as "light" or "fat free" are low in calories but high in sodium as shown in the following two graphs
We finally observe that the sauces and dressings as a whole are very low in trans fats, dietary fiber and protein.
