Americans and Germans are totally different from each other. These differences arise due to their cultural differences. American people adopt positive attitude in any business meetings. They believe in positive communication.
They praise each other and motivate them to work in a proper manner. German people keep facts above the feelings. There are some similarities also between American and German Business cultures. Both of them consider business meetings as a time killer.
There are several books in both the cultures which mainly focus on different strategies to make business meetings more productive. Jokes about meetings are also prevalent in both the cultures. Both American and German people are "on time" people.
They wish to start any meeting on time. Delay is not in their habits. They also prefer a well maintained and pre decided meeting agenda so that productive outputs can be ensured from any business meeting.
