  • Availability of High-quality information bases on relevant topic areas and extracting/ collecting strictly relevant information from it

Being a Department supervisor in a hospital, following information can be collected to determine quality of healthcare:

  • Stringent and timely checks on all records of patients coming, medicines and treatment given
  • Check on Comments/ Prescriptions/ Recommendations given by doctor’s for all patients
  • Check for any record if doctor’s have gone via patients’ previous medical history, if any
  • Check on checklist completed by nurses for patient’s timely medicine and other healthcare activities, as directed by respective doctors
  • Cross Check with doctors if nurses are following their recommendations
  • Check on above factors with patients, if they are given timely and complete treatment for any other inconvenience/ issues faced
  • Check data security of all patients’ healthcare records within the organization, to avoid any legal issues on later stage
  • Check if sufficient medical inventory is present with hospital administration to serve patients in routine and emergency situations
  • Check if all emergency facilities are working and stand by
  • Check for facility and hygiene maintenance
  • Check on respective certifications required with hospital and healthcare compliances
