Analyzing Nonverbal Signal
Explain what the following gestures or postures could men when they are exhibit by someone during a conversation. how did you reach your conclusion about each Nonverbal Signal? How do such signals influence your interpretation of spoken word? summarize your findings in your main post.
There are various types of gestures or postures used by people when communicating. Different gestures mean differently. For example, a person may say hello by lifting hand or nodding of head can mean yes or no. all these are used by people as simple ways of communicating which also helps in saving the time and also quick way of conveying our thoughts and feelings to others.
Similarly, a person who is presenting to others use hand gestures which means they are emphasizing on a particular point. Gestures can also include facial expressions and body positions. Fr example when a person raises his eyebrow, it means that he is interested and happy in a particular subject. Gestures are usually nonverbal communication used by people and certain precautions must be taken to ensure that they don’t hurt other’s feelings.
It also happens in western countries, that low contest communicators use more of non-verbal language to convey meaning in their communication or the message they deliver.
