b. The pandemic has crippled lives of almost all individuals, the hospitality, tourism and airline industries are the most affected of all. As a General Manager of Royal Aroma Hotel, you would be experience  a complete loss in the business due to COVID-19 situation. As a result, several of the employees may either have to face a pay cut or may be temporary or permanently relieved. This results in them loosing their income and therefore you must empathize them. Also, the remaining employees may either be over-worked for sanitizing and maintain hygiene or stressed due to the present conditions. Besides this, they may have personal worries about the family and loved ones who may be either living in hot zones or being treated for COVID-19.

c. I agree with the statement, as understanding the problem is the first step towards rectifying it. Thus, once one understands that there is some problem with the communication, and that it's not functioning as it is expected to, then one tries to find out the reason why, and eventually resolve the problem. Thus, facilitating effective communication.
