The outer game and inner game:

The outer game describes the game played in the mind in which the dedication and focus are the obstacles to be mastered. without forcing the body and the mind to achieve the goal there is an easier way to achieve that is intelligence of the body and the mind express .By developing the inner game by expanding their it will lead to grow their outer game as well.

The outer game has four hats :The leadership hat ,manager hat,coach hat,the team player hat. As a leader all the four hats to be wear any instant of time which indicates what is possible, what is the plan, what is the next play, what is my promise respectively. The outer game of the leadership includes leadership competencies, like developing the managerial and technical skill, required to accomplish the goal. Most effort to implement mastery in leadership focus on outer game competence.

The inner game includes the leader meanings making system. The way in which the people makes sense of the world, The underlying assumptions and beliefs implemented over the time. Often all the competencies are developed on inner games. on the stage of consciousness. The better outer game the maturity of the inner game will be more. The leadership effectiveness will be more.

What points of leverage and strategies are given for increasing motivation and employee satisfaction?

  • Providing positive work environment : creating the job satisfaction initiated with providing the positive work environment. A motivating work environment will turns people on, by provides the worker needs and environment which they are comfortable with. Employees are seeking for respectful treatment in all levels in the organization, This culture of an organization is influence by the leadership behavior.
  • Reward and recognize: Personal reorganization is the powerful factor in building motivation and morale within employees. Providing encouragement and giving rewards for employees for their valuable contribution for the organization can also motivates the employees to give their full effort to the organization. The employees will reduce to seek for new job and they will concentrate on business growth. A good leader can identify and evaluate the employees dedication and hard work in the organization in order to provide the rewards and recognition for them.
  • Establish the trust : Senior management in an organization or the leader needs to build the trust with employees at all levels . leader can build the employee trust by demonstrating integrity and credibility in everything they do. Communication acts as the key factor in building trust. maintaining secret does not build the trust. communicating clearly will help to minimize the trust issues.
  • Job security : The recession in the recent year caused employees to feel insecure in their job. Organization can help ease with this by clearly communicating with the people by telling the current financial status of the company, objectives of organization and overall performance.
  • Offering compensations: provide the employees health benefits, insurance policies, good pay grades and retirement contributions will make employees work meaningful
  • Communication- Have positive communication with the employees, not only relay on the mails , instead of that talk to the individual personally

  • Working Conditions- the employees will spend their most of the time in work environment, It is important for the organization toe provide the spacious work area rather than the cramped once, with proper lighting and the comfortable work stations which contributes the favorable work condition.Providing the upgraded information technology tool may helps the employees to perform well ,
  • Opportunity and advancement: The employees will be more satisfied with the job and motivated to work further if they see a path available to move up ranks in the organization. Many organization will encourage the employees to learn more advanced skill, which help them to get the promotion.
  • Stress level and work load : Dealing with the heavy work load and finishing the task within the deadline impossible , increase the employee stress level and employee job satisfactions reduces even for the most dedicated employees. Sometimes such situation arises due to the poor planning and inefficient management.
  • Respect from the colleagues : Employees often seeks the respect from the other co workers , with the hostile work environment and unpleasant co worker it will lead to lower job satisfactions and motivation.
