Measuring the amount of underage drinking on my campus

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS: (It's a must - be thank ful to all those people who have helped you collect all your data also who have guided you through the thesis)

ABSTRACT: The aim is to identify the amount of underage students who are drinking on the campus

The below mentioned table is exactly how you will design a research project

Example of a Reference:

Babbie, E. (2007). The practice of social research (11th Ed). United States: Thomson Wadsworth.

I shall be answering the 3 main questions asked above:

1. Questions would be open and close ended in the form of questionnaire to both drinking and non drinking participants

An open-ended question is designed to encourage a full, meaningful answer using the subject's own knowledge and/or feelings. It is the opposite of a closed-ended question, which encourages a short or single-word answer.

example of close ended question:

example of open ended question:

During the past year, how often have you failed to do what was normally expected of you because of drinking? Give a detailed explation of the question.

Answer 2 : Observation of Behaviour done on the following basis:

not able to stop drinking once started

failing to do what was normally expected of you because of drinking

needed a drink in the morning to get yourself going after a heavy drinking session

unable to remember what happened the night before because you had been drinking

Have you or someone else been injured as a result of your drinking

Has a relative or friend, doctor or a health worker been concerned about your drinking or suggested you to cut down?

My friends think it is ok to get drunk more than one occasion per week

Attitude pre and post drinking

Behaviour on campus

Attendance in class

Attentiveness in class

Level of agression exhibited in class and otherwise

Concentration on studies

Marks in college

Answer 3: Differences in answers of drinking and non drinking students have to be taken into consideration while on campus.
