Suppose you work for the HR department at a multinational company. Your company recently decides to send managers to the following 4 countries: Japan, England, Hong Kong, and Mexico. Your team is asked to suggest potential candidates and formulate a compensation policy for the expatriate managers. Furthermore, you need to provide training for the expatriate managers.

1.Compensation policy for managers
Compensation policy would include following categories
Project bonus: On successful completion of a particular project
along with his team members, project bonus would be awarded only to
the manager.
Retention bonus: Annually some bonus would be provided as a
retention bonus in order to retain the manager
Profit sharing plan: By providing stock options profit would be
shared with managers.
Annual incentive plan: The manager would be rewarded on
accomplishing certain task assigned to him.
2. Training for the managers
Training associated with the cultural factors of a particular
company.
Manager should be made aware of do's and don'ts of the particular
culture, body language in the particular country and what it
indicates, general rules followed by the country,etc
And basic motivation training and training related to particular
field of the organisation an introduction of the mission and vision
of the organisation which the managers have to keep in mind while
accomplishing various projects.
Training related to legal aspects of the particular country.
3.For each country manager should be selected according to the personal traits that are in congruence with the culture of a particular country. And also the knowledge of the language in the particular country would be given preference for selection of the managers.
