1-The purpose of business intelligence sytem in a business is to help corporate executives, business managers, and other operational workers make better and more informed business decisions. Companies also use business intelligence system to cut costs, identify new business opportunities, and spot inefficient business processes.

2-The goal of Business intelligence system  is to help decision-makers make more informed and better decisions to guide the business. Business intelligence software and software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions accomplish this by making it simpler to aggregate, see, and slice-and-dice the data.

3-The primary activities in the Business intelligence system are: Data acquisition: the process of obtaining, cleaning, organizing, relating, and cataloging source data.

4-Databases are the most traditional kind of data source in Business intelligence system . There are many different kinds of databases, and many vendors providing databases with different architectures and different features.
