A) Spermatocyte creation
B) Supplying nutrients for gamete motility
C) Moving fluids along the reproductive tract
D) Buffer production
E) Hormone secretion for fertility regulation
24.C) Spiral glands form in the functional layer E) Epithelial cells rapidly divide
During the proliferative phase of uterine cycle, the increases level of estrogen regenerates the surface of the endothelial lining. The stroma contains the spiral shaped cell which go through the mitosis and helps in formation of functional layer. The enodmetrial epithelial cells rapidly divide and grow.Howerver, during the secretory phase the uterine gland tend to become spiral coiled shaped ,secretes the glycogen, and the blood flow to the spiral arteries increases due to increased level of progesterone .During the luteal phases,as progesterone level decreases, corpus luteum starts regressing causes spiral uterine gland to become necrotic due to less blood supply through spiral arteries.During the follicular phase of uterine cycle, epithelial cells get formed by the basal stratum layer of the enometrial lining ,thus forms the ducts of uterine gland and lining of the endometrium.
18.C) Decreased hormone production by ovaries D)Hot flashes, increased sweating, and vasoconstriction of blood vessels
Age related menopause characterized by the production of estrogen and progesterone from the ovary ,which causes decreases in development of the ovarian follicles, thus stopping of the menses causes less mucous production . The hypotrophy of the ovaries can be seen due to decrease in the number of the follicles within. The decreased level of estrogen and progesterone causes the poor control of temperature and peripheral vasoconstriction ,increased cardiac output results into hot flashes and sweating.
26.D) 4, 1, 3, 2
Testes produces the sperm, the epididymis receives the immature sperm from the testes and store them and while ejaculation it passes through the ductus deferens for the maturation purpose. From there it travels through the spermatic cords into the pelvic cavity over the prostate gland. the ductus deferns drained into the seminal vesicle and forms the ejaculatory duct which travels through prostate and opens into the urethra.
7.C) Moving fluids along the reproductive tract B)Supplying nutrients for gamete motility
The male reprodcutive system has three accessory glands - bulbourethral gland, prostate gland and seminal vesicles. The bulbourethral gland is present beneath the prostate gland which functions in mixing fluid to the seminal substance during ejaculation. The prostate gland is located in middle of the urinary baldder and peniss, and produces the prostatic fluid to nourish the sperm.Seminal vesicle produces and store the seminal fluid.
