standard deviation = = 5
z = 3 is the maximum z score value
z = -2 is the minimum z score value
We know that,
z = X - /
z * = X -
X = z *
Now,
Maximum X value = 75 + 3* (5) = 90
Minimum X value = 75 - 2*(5) = 65
Then the Range ,
Range = Maximum - Minimum
Range = 90 - 65
