Today’s world is completely digital and even the people around the globe are quite dependent on it. The digital world today has been playing a very good role in getting the things done in a much fast & cheaper way. However as every coin has another side of it, there is a huge question of the digital privacy of the people being part of this massive digitalization. Today for shopping people are tend to use applications such as amazon, for transportation something such as Uber, for social interaction people using facebook, instagram etc., in fact for all their needs they do have a digitalized solution to which definitely makes things easier however the concern in the privacy of the people using such services. As we all can see that the digital privacy today has taken a much wider public turn as people do share all their information on the application & websites whenever they shot or use any of such services but what about the data that the application or the website stored within themselves.

There was a time when the organization used to get hacked (even today with a lower frequency), there were a lot of data which was affected & even lost (or stolen sometimes), but now as we have a lot of options wherein it’s possible to put faces to hacking.

Such things surely arrives with a kind of questions that, ”actually in which direction the digital privacy is moving & what can be expected from it in the future?”. The attempts however can be seen by the organizations for example it has been seen that organizations such as Google now allows those in the EU ‘a privilege to be forgotten’ just in case if they feel that any specific piece of information, if one feels that the particular information can be misused. Features like such would surely makes sure that a degree, people across the globe are protected towards such erroneous or Mis use of the information that can easily be found about them.

There is another options that has been introduced such as allowing cookies functions on the websites. Which certainly gives a glimpse to the user that their information will be collected as cookies browsing that particular website, which allows the user to have that liberty to have complete control of what data he wanted to be completely secured and the data that the user may allow to be shared.

Hence to conclude, talking about the actual truth about the digital privacy is that with several analytics which are spread across & the different ways which are available in order to track a user or use the information is something that is going to be continues. However, there would surely be several new legislations which surely be introduced in order to counteract such things. However is it going to stop people using the internet would still be a mysterious question & can only be seem going further in the future ahead.
