We shall study this based on a restaurant example.
1) Inputs:
a) Raw Food - This includes vegetables, spices etc.
b) Customers - They manipulate the choices
c) Menu items - The stuff displayed on the menu
d) Plates - The dishes, crockery etc
e) and servers
2) Main resources:
a) Kitchen Appliances - This includes items used to transform raw material
b) Chef - The personnel who cook
c) Look at the restaurant - The ambiance makes an effect on choices
d) Servers
e) Customers
f) Energy - The energy required to cook
g) Management - The admin staff
h) Capital - Money involved in transforming input to output
3) Transformation Process:
a) Menu items are transformed into food by the Chef.
b) Similarly, plates are transformed by the chef.
c) Servers give varied dishes based on the customer.
d) Chef modifies the raw food by cooking.
e) Menu and servers affect the customer choices.
4) Output:
Products - Food, drinks, appetizers.
Services - server delivers food to the table.
