In a paragraph (or more), discuss some of the issues related to entrepreneurship in China and India as defined in the Harvard video (Billions of Entrepreneurs (Tarun Khanna)).
China and India are fundamentally different in terms of socio-economy . Both the nations are one of the most densely populated nations of the world . Population and tackling with population growth differs in the two countries, primarily because China's tendencies err in the direction of public interest , while India's err in the direction of Private rights. A common example being the existence of slums in the city of Mumbai amidst posh skycrappers , which happens to be the business capital of the nation . Indian democratic constitution invokes the belief that rights of individuals are sacro sanct . One of the primary reasons why India cannot build cities like china over night . Bulldozing slums is not an option that can be considered officially in India. Rights of individuals are protection under the law. Having said that it's not an absolute situation , but by and large by central tendencies that is one of the biggest difference of how things function in both the countries . Enterprising ideas and tendencies from the demography living in the slums and making then fruitful is nothing surprising in India . In china the system of government doesn't allow so . Stock market being another classic example . Stock market is somewhat tied to the overall ecnomic perfomrance in china
