explain the diffrent ways the supreme court can be cheched if and when they abuse their power?

Expert Solution

The United States Configuration established the United States Supreme court and announced it to be the highest court in the land. The Supreme Court's resolutions are constitutionally established to be the supreme law of the land. This sounds as if the Supreme court is unassailable and holds all the power of the federal government.

however, our framers were more careful than that. They deliberately designed a system with seperate governmental branches. Our federal government is partitioned into the legislative, managing and judicial branch.

All federal power and dominance is separated between these three branches, with each branch responsible for fulfilling particular governmental needs. Each of the three branches is deliberate to be dependent on the other two. The framers designed a structure of checks and balances to safeguard that no one branch held too much ability or too much command over any other branch. This structure is also known as a disconnection of powers. Each branch has the governmental command to review and prevent the operations of the other branches.

There have been many objections and theories of how the Supreme Court has a inclination to act as a "supra-legislature". It is suggested that the Supreme Court takes the power to make laws and set strategies which rightfully belongs to the congress and state legislatures. They state that justices overshoot their authorized powers of judicial review and read their own perspectives and views into the constitution and are in fact "politicians in robes".
