Sy Friedland is intelligent, creative and has an engaging personality. He has a warm, friendly and had a great sense of humor. . He was a visionary and believed that JF&CS could do much better. He also responds proactively to the needs of the community. He made the organization proactive and caring to the personal issues of the staff and also created a transparent culture at JF&CS.

Sy Friedland retired as the CEO of JF&CS in 2011. He was adaptive and flexible in his approach and transformed JF&CS during his tenure. He created an open management style and implemented advance financial systems at JF&CS. This shows that he is not afraid to take risks and that his planning is effective.
