Give an example of five different types of fallacies used while speaking to persuade.
Common fallacies that occur while persuading someone are
1.False reasoning: This fallacy is where we fail to give the reason for our argument strongly and hence the argument lacks proper validation. An example is "stop watching movies as people are going into depression with more sentiment and sadness."Here the reasoning is too weak to make them accept.
2. Bandwagon: We sometimes persuade others to follow something just because everyone else are doing it and it is good to follow others. An example of this fallacy is "go to the movie as everyone are watching it and giving good reviews."
3.False authority: This fallacy is the person who is giving the speech is not authorised for giving such speeches and persuading others but still doing it.
4. Ad hominem: This fallacy is attacking that person with words rather than trying to make them understand . This is most common fallacy. An example of this fallacy is "you never got good marks and need to adjust your study hours inorder to get good scores " . When we want the person to join some course and we point out the negative in them so that they realise is an example of this fallacy.
5.Slippery slope: This fallacy is making the person believe that this one decision will lead to other things and hence this is a good one to make. An example of this fallacy is "help him so that you will get what you require during the time of project. "
