Terrorism is an illegal activity which is committed to harm people and create a terror among the people. The terrorist are usually well trained and they carry out the crime with the support of their terrorist organizations. The crime that is carried is well planned. The terrorist organizations and terrorist are well funded by individuals who support their motives. These terrorists have some goals which they try to achieve by violent means and causing harm to the people. They usually take the claim for their actions when any terrorist actitvity is carried on. Terrorist activities are carried out across the borders.

Typical criminal commit crime individually or in groups but its not necessary that they are well trained in carrying out their tasks. Typical criminals commit crime for their personal interests even they do it in groups. The purpose of committing crime is not to create terror among people and they normally hide their crime or do not owe their crime. Criminals carry out their crime in their particular area or locality.
