state and explain external factors that affect the normal body temperature of a human being.
Followings are the factors that affect the normal body temperature of human being:
1.Physical control:
The body gains the heat from its environment like, Clothing, sun, ingestion of hot food.
2.Chemical control:
body produces heat through meabolism of food.body metabolism increases in order to produce more heat for the body as necessary.
Thus, the rate at which body metabolism take place and affects an control the body temperature, an increasevin metabolic rate which increases in body temperature and vice versa.
By nervous control:
body temperature maintained by hypothalamus in central.nervous which located at the base of brain.
As well as various External factors affecting body temperature Like,
1.muscular activity: leads to increase in tissue metabolism which in turn to increase in heat production, shivering, muscular exercises etc.
2. ingestion of food: by increasing the fuel supply body heat is increases.
3.Time of day: Body temperature tends to be high at late afternoon or early evening.
Increased environment temperature: higb room temperature of room or hot water bath also may increases the body temperature.
Emotions:stimulates the sympathetic nervous system with release of epinephrine or norepinephrine which increases the metabolic activity of tissue which in turnnto increases the heat production.
