7. What is the SRS (self-reliance strategy) for refugees and how might it leave refugees vulnerable?

Government of Uganda (GoU) and United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) is a program for refugess as the Self-Reliance Strategy.  The hosting policy of Uganda started since 1940s with broad policy of addressing the refugee problems and solving it by promoting self-reliance and local integration of refugees within the broad framework of government policy. The key elements include: land allocation, access to refugees for basic amnities, generosity. It enable the people to grow own and make their own food also to make self-sustaining community structures. It makes people vulnerable by by not letting others to help. It makes people overwhelmed and make them feel like snubbing them or not opening up to them

8. Explain the difference between horizontal (community based) and vertical (disease based) care?

Vertical based approach are narrow-based focuses more on single pathogen. A specific top-down approach which is easier for funding and others. On the other hand, the horizontal approach concentrates on prevention and control measures that is community based helps in reduction of all infections due to all pathogens and treatment for all underlying issues.
