What is spermatogenesis? In what specific structure
does this occur? What is oogenesis? What is another function of
both the ovary and testis?
Spermatogenesis is formation of half spermatozoa( sperm) from
diploid spermatogonia in testis of male. The semniferous tubule
present in testis help in formation of spermtocyte cell giving rise
to sperm cell. The oogenesis is process of formation of oocyte .
The testis serve as storage of testosterone hormone and produce
hormones like inhibin , it help in providing nutrition to
sperm.
the ovary in female is associated in production of reproduction
hormones like estrogen and prosgesteone necessary for the
reproduction changes in the body .
