Apply the knowledge of biological psychology and consider the commonly expressed myth that humans use 10% of their brains.
It is a common myth that only 10% of human b rain is active and rest part remains inactive. But there is no scientific base of such claim. It is a common belief in most of the Americans.
This belief raises many questions. There are many great scientists and how much their brain is used as they possess excellencies of brain. In the real situation it appears that there are numerous types of people having different level of intelligence. So, the main question, what percentage of brain is operative in such ordinary people.
On the other hand, it is also a proved matter is that the capability of brain can be increased. But in such case it is not possible to measure what percentage of the brain capability can be increased. By taking nutritious food the capacity of brain can be increased. By exercise it can be more active. On the contrary, brain activity may be reduced for various reasons. Different types of people are efficient in different activities. In such cases, it is not possible the proper percentage of the activity of the brain parts.
So, it is clear that it is not possible to measure the capability of brain. This claim does not have any reasonable and valid explanation.
