Should Texas afford greater protections to individuals than offered by the Federal Government, or should Texas provide the same freedoms afforded by the US Constitution. Does this hinder or help law-enforcement procedures in Texas?
One of the most important duties of a government is providing a secure life by protecting the borders of the nation and by protecting the properties of the citizens. Most of the US states share their borders with other states but few like Texas share it with other countries which makes it more difficult to safe guard the borders as effectively as the other states. Because it's an international border, it should be protected by the Federal government with the help of the state government because infiltrations will be best controlled by the federal government than the state government because of the federal facilities in security. If the state government spends on securing it's borders, it might need to shed more money on that part. Except protecting the borders, the law should be same through the United States of America otherwise it would be confusing to people who travel for business, leisure etc. even within the US.
