what are some health, wellness, clinic/hospital, medication, or supplement-related to logical fallacies (reasoning errors)?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Some of the health, wellness, clinic/hospital, medication, or supplement- related to logical fallacies are as below:

1. People in some countries have longer life as compared to other countries because of socialist health care system: This is a logical fallacy and can't be treated as true since there is no data on the same. Moreover longer life pertains to better lifestyle and better health care rather than socialist healthcare system.

2. Healthcare spending can be lowered by eliminating profits: This is also false since healthcare spending is not controlled by profit levels and must not be associated with them.

3. Government health care system is better and efficient than private health care system: This is also a false statement an there is no logical judgement for it. On the other hand, private health care facilities are equally efficient and effective as government health care system and also have advanced medical facilities available.

4. Advertising of drugs is bad since it increases medication price: This is totally wrong assumption and must not be followed. Drugs should be advertised so that people come to know that their diseases can be cured and proper medication is available for that. In order to increase patient awareness, it is important to advertise drugs.
