Phrenic nerve: it is a mixed motor/sensory nerve. it is a twin nerve, made up of motor nerve fibers that send signals between the brain and the diaphragm. Thus this nerve helps in producing contractions of the diaphragm muscle and hence very important in breathing. This nerve also provides innervation of the pericardium, the mediastinal pleura in the thorax and also innervates the diaphragmatic peritoneum.
Sciatic nerve: Sciatic nerve is a mixed-function nerve that provides indirect sensory innervation by means of its terminal branches. It travels from the spine, through pelvis and each leg. This nerve thus supplies muscles of the lower leg and is responsible for providing sensation to the skin of the foot and to the entire leg with the exception of its inner side.
Brachial nerve: also known as brachial plexus, is a system of spinal nerve with its origin at the back of the neck. This nerve is responsible for both sensory and motor function and is responsible for sensation and movement of the arms, hands, and fingers.
Sacral plexus: it is a nerve plexus that provides motor and sensory nerves to the posterior thighs, part of the pelvis, buttocks, genitals, calves and feet and thus impacts a large part of our body. It is a part of lumbosacral plexus.
