Function of amacrine cells, is to recieve synaptic input form bipolar cells and other amacrines, and in turn it provide input to amacrine and ganglion cells, and also give feedback to bipolar cells.
Horizontal cells are laterally interconnecting neurons having cell bodies in the inner nuclear layer of retina of vertebrate eyes.
They regulate and integrate input from multiple photoreceptor cells.
