Analysis of how joints, muscles, and neuromuscular mechanisms work together to create squat movement.
For performing squat movement or any other movement, there is a need of integration of muscles , bones and neuromuscular activity. Brain and muscle connectivity is required to perform any movement.
To start the squat movement, firstly stimulus is generated in the brain. Now this stimulus travel from the brain to the muscle of leg via various neurons.
Now at the neuromuscular junction, the stimuli cause release of neurotransmitter from axon end of neuron and this neurotransmitter binds to the surface of muscle to generate action potential.
Now this action potential propagate in the muscle fibre . Calcium ions are released from sarcoplasmic reticulum into the cytoplasm of muscle to from cross bridges between actin and myosin . This cause contraction of muscle.
Now the bones are attached to muscles at various sites with the help of Tendons. So when the muscle contacts, it brings movement in the particular part of body because of movement of bones.
In this way bones, muscles and neuromuscular activity works together to bring squat movement.
