What does Exodus teach us about God’s promises to deliver and be with his people? How should this shape our lives?

The Israelites were faced with a hopeless situation, & its only thru God’s mighty power that they were freed from captivity. He crushed the most powerful armed forces of that time without the Israelites having to take up weapons.

God assured that He would battle for them- ‘The LORD , will battle for you, according to everyone He acted for you in Egypt in front of your eyes’ {Deuteronomy 1:30}. ‘Still, for all that, you didn’t believe your God’ .

Each individual has an option whether to obey Lord or reject God’s way of life.

Lord brought Israel out of Egypt thru mighty signals & wonders, & led them with a pillar of cloud in the day & a pillar of fire in the night. He magically parted the Red Sea & gave them water & food in the wilderness.

Lord headed His people out of Egypt and into the Promised Land with manifold great signals & wonders. These are recorded thus we can trust Him.

If persons everywhere would acknowledge all the commandments of Lord as guidelines in their lives, then the world would become a much better and a more peaceful place. Lord wants us to obey the ten Commandments for our own benefit
