You have just developed a new training system that will increase the number of targets correctly identified. Using the data from 15 trainees listed below, conduct a single sample t-test to determine whether they perform significantly different from the population of air traffic control operators trained using the traditional method.
    1. State the null and alternative hypotheses
    2. Set the criteria for a decision (it is done for you; SPSS uses the default of a two-tailed test with a = .05)
    3. Compute the test statistic using SPSS
    4. What is the effect size (you will need to compute Cohen’s d from data given in the SPSS output table)
