Teens are definitely exposed to too much sex in the media such as movies, print media and digital media such as internet. The dialogues, the exposure, porn etc. affect the teens as they are in a critical age of experimenting things. This exposure in the media fuels the desire further. Another thing about these media is that they are easily available and teens have more privacy with less parental control. Sex is propagated as part of one’s personality and physical maturity.

This is definitely going to affect their sexual development for few reasons. They will try things out but if they don’t succeed in the act, they may develop an inferiority complex and fear for sex in the later stages. If they don’t practice safe sex, they may end up in a mess which will affect their sexual development further. Media also shows unmarried sex and extra marital sex which will affect the teens as they grow.
