Problem soloving is a huge criteria in sleceting a candidate for a particular position in the company. I have trie dto help my compnay in many possible ways whenever a problematic situation occurs. Problem solving has been a huge part of pretty much every position I’ve held.
I worked in a consulting firm for 7 years now. The position I held at this company centered on sales. The main problem that the compnay is facing was of training to teh employees. The company trained you in regard to systems, but not so much in depth on products and how to recommend them. It proved to be very frustrating for the employees. With such a huge requirement to sale, it’s difficult to do so when you’re not confident in what you are saying to the customer.
As a result of so many complaints, I made a team with some of my co-workers to help resolve this problem. We created a survey and made the whole company complete it. It was geared to see what areas employees felt they needed additional training in. It also allowed employees the opportunity to express their concerns related to employee morale. As a result we were able to compile our findings and was able to clear the problem to a larger extent.
