Tunica vasculosa is the first thin layer of blood vessels. This layer shields the tubular interior of each testicle from further layers of tissue around the outer testicle. The next layer is called the tunica albuginea.
There are three layers to the tunica, the tunica vasculosa, tunica albuginea and tunica vaginalis. The tunica vasculosa is the inner layer of the tunica and consists of blood vessels and connective tissue. It is covered by the tunica albuginea and facilitates blood supply to the testes.
The cremaster is a muscle that covers the testis and the spermatic cord.
In human males, the cremaster muscle is a thin layer of striated muscle found in the inguinal canal and sscortum between the external and internal layers of spermatic fascia, surrounding the testis and spermatic cord.
TESE (Testicular Sperm Extraction)
Sperm can be taken directly from the testicle when there are no sperm in the epididymis or if you have a sperm production problem (nonobstructive azoospermia). A needle is inserted (aspiration) or a tissue sample (biopsy) is taken through the skin.
If the sperm production is normal, sperm can be reliably obtained simply by passing a tiny needle into the epididymis (percutaneous epididymal sperm aspiration or PESA) or testicle (testicular sperm aspiration or TESA) with local anesthesia or sedation. ... Sperm are retrieved in the vast majority of these patients.
