Among the 4P's of marketing, the most promising field is the promotion as per my perception. Promotion of any product is the most important part of marketing. Promotion does not depend upon the price or place of marketing strategy as for every price group promotion is utmost important. Promotion of a product create brand awareness and it makes the product visible in the market whether it is expensive or affordable for a customer.

Yes, marketers have responsibilities beyond selling products. Marketing and selling are two different concepts. Where sells thinks from a business perspective, marketing thinks from a customer perspective. The marketer should take the view of a customer about the product and try to bridge the gap through the development team. Marketers also help in identifying the customer requirement for any new product and covey the same to the business entity.

My favorite TV commercial is the ad of APPLE products. Though the products are bt higher end compared to other competitors price. Apple presents its features and specifications in such a manner that it looks promising and a customer think it is worth paying a higher price for the product. Apple's face id feature for iPhone is presented so beautifully in the ads that it attracts customer's attention.

The information utility offered by marketing intermediaries benefits me the most. The information provided by intermediaries about any product or service makes the customer aware of new features or new services that are being offered by the company. For example, most of the airlines in their websites advertise about a different category of extra add-on services and their costs so that people can avail them easily through pre-booking the services. Electronic goods making companies also show different product features and variety in their websites for information point of view
