answer the following question: (Describe, briefly, at least 2 diseases that stop or delay nerve impulse conduction) ?
please, don't answer in pic. write it..thx
1.Ulnar nerve entrapment
Ulnar nerve entrapment is the condition where ulnar nerve gets trapped and delayed the nerve impulses reaching to the ulna.It causes pain, numbness and weakness into little and ring finger or the hand. The nerve entrapment may occur throughout the spine region at cervical vertebra C7 to the wrist. However at the elbow point nerve gets trapped commonly and known as cubital tunnel syndrome.Activity modification excercises can prevent this situation.
2.Carpal tunnel syndrome
Carpal tunnel syndrome is the condition where median nerve gets compressed when it travels through wrist at the carpal tunnel. It causes pain, numbness and tingling in fingers index, thumb and middle .The compression of median nerve inhibit nerve gliding which cause nerve injury and scar.During injury, median nerves gets attach to the tissue and result into less mobility.Physiotherapy ,steroid based mediactions and splint treatment can be useful to reduce the effect.
