I would like to answer the question from my "being a mother" perspective because I have seen and witness society view. In fact being part of society carried the view while looking at any other expecting mother to be! E.g have seen one woman 8 months pregnant but the way she was carrying and looking was very tiresome. Like she carrying loads of loads of weight and looking pale and not excited. I understand there is some issue that every woman face but it a moment to cherish. And I made a comment to my husband " can you believe, it's a beautiful expecting body and she is portraying and look nerd"

Firstly, pregnancy is a wonderful experience physically as well as mentally. Because you are witnessing a transition in human itself and believe that GOD exists :-) So it's up to you how you feel and make other people feel.

Many women struggle with the physical changes due to having a baby. Even I have witnessed the same, still do not fit in old jeans. trying though!

Coming from a family where have two elder sisters with kids, therefore there experience really mattered for what good or bad. Secondly, if we compare the generation of past the mindset was very different. Today's generation [ precisely of the 80's) have become health conscious, understanding of looking perfect post-pregnancy etc. Theferore lot of program be launched to cope the weight or health management. But they enjoyed the phase of 9 months with better eating better, engaging in healthy activities like yoga, carrying the body with appropriate outfit etc.

Society has lots of view and solution to each and everything. Believe you me view related to any pregnant women restrict to society itself. But they not open. try and say anything about the body to pregnant women, you shall get your answer.

As far as the view of changing body and expression of sexuality vary from couple to couple, man to man. Some man finds it sexually attractive and would like to engage in the act with wife at pregnancy stage. But some take it phase and control. My husband really helped and enjoyed every moment of pregnancy by holding me and feeling me. And he is happy the way the OK. And he keeping supporting me to look better and feel better.
