Are human rights and sustainable development issues relevant to the behaviour of MNCs? Give some examples to back the answer
Yes, there is no doubt in the fact that human rights and sustainable development issues relevant to the behavior of Multinational Corporations and the MNCs actually have decions and regulations based on these factors. The business organizations actually depend and aim for sustainable development because the level of competition in any field of business is very high and therefore in order to remain competitive organization have to propose or formulate strategies which will give them sustainability or else the organization may actually no longer remain as important as what it was. Human rights are also important and the bahvior regarding the employees is an example where the organization needs to display proper behavior towards them because that is expected or else the employees always have an option and may be even better.
If we look at an example we will see that Apple if they are not producing enough products in a particular period of time then the organization may lose the hold that possess on the industry and they will lose the competitive value that they possess. Again for human rights also an organization needs to value the employees along with the clients by providing with the facilities that is required and only then employees will prefer such an organization to work for because of the high level of competition they are also having more than one options.
